Regional Overview
The Australian Environmental Division – operating in the worlds’ driest continent – is uniquely structured to provide specialist services to the Water Resources Sector in addition to the Traditional Environmental work conducted globally. The sub division, within the Australian Environmental Division was formalised with the acquisition of Ecowise Environmental in December 2009. Established in 2009, the Traralgon Laboratory is part of the Australian network of ALS Environmental Division Laboratories (Water Resources). The laboratory provides water testing and expertise to the Gippsland region of Victoria and services Gippsland Water.
The Traralgon Laboratory provides quotations, technical advice, sample containers, sample collection and pick up and container delivery. As well as the comprehensive range of NATA accredited microbiological and chemical testing services provided in Traralgon the laboratory also utilises the extensive laboratory capability of the Melbourne (Scoresby) Laboratory to enable comprehensive services in water analysis.
