Regional Overview
The Australian Environmental Division – operating in the worlds’ driest continent – is uniquely structured to provide specialist services to the Water Resources Sector in addition to the Traditional Environmental work conducted globally. The sub division, within the Australian Environmental Division was formalised with the acquisition of Ecowise Environmental in December 2009. The Mackay operations is part of the Monitoring and Technical Services (MATS) Division and were established to provide sampling and instrumentation/technical services to the Bowen Basin and the mining industry in Central Queensland.
This office predominantly services the extensive coal mining operations. Services include sample collection, management, interpretation and reporting of water resource, water quality, hydrometric, meteorological and air quality data including in-situ monitoring, automated stations and telemetry networks.
